Renewable energy consultant and professional engineer Paul Stepanoff has held a Professional Engineering License, or PE, in the state of Pennsylvania since 1987. Also a NABCEP-certified solar photovoltaic and thermal installer, Paul Stepanoff holds three United States patents and one foreign patent for his innovations. He is fluent in both written and spoken Russian, and in the past, he was elected Quakertown Community School District Director. Paul Stepanoff attended The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
Currently, Paul Stepanoff serves as Chief Operating Officer of Penn Renewables, Inc., a Quakertown, Pennsylvania, firm that provides renewable energy maintenance services. In his position of executive leadership, Paul Stepanoff supervises the operations, sales, and engineering segments of the company. Prior to doubling sales in 2010, Paul Stepanoff led the company to a 225 percent increase in profits in 2009. In addition to his executive and administrative capabilities, Paul Stepanoff also participated directly in the company’s engineering processes by designing a 280-kilowatt installation for Pennsylvania’s Richland Township.
Prior to gaining the position of Chief Operating Officer for Penn Renewables in 2008, Paul Stepanoff served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of Concept Group, Inc., a manufacturer of hermetic seals and vacuum insulated assemblies. The company’s clients include such household names as Honeywell International Inc., Bayer AG, and others. Over the course of three consecutive years, Paul Stepanoff successfully raised revenue growth by 94 percent and achieved improved ratings on customer feedback. Additionally, Paul Stepanoff has worked with Latitude Manufacturing Technologies, Inc., as President, Chief Executive Officer, and member of the Board of Directors. During the end of the Cold War period, Paul Stepanoff spearheaded Defense Conversion efforts by the US Department of Defense in the former Soviet Union, where he established an electronics manufacturing company, KK Interconnect JSC, which employed former strategic weapons workers and helped to make the world a safer place. He also performed duties as the Senior Principal Development Engineer for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.
